By downloading Nokta, creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Nokta is only for people aged 18 and over. We ask for your date of birth when you register, and accounts identified as belonging to someone under 18 are not opened. Accounts later found to belong to someone under 18 are closed without notice.
You may not transfer your account to anyone else or share it with more than one person. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
Nokta lets you leave a photo and a question at the place where you are (a "moment"), find and open moments left by others, and start a conversation. Opening a moment spends an in-app unit called a "diamond". Diamonds can be earned through daily allowances and invites; where they can be purchased, payment is handled by the Apple App Store.
Diamonds are not real money. They cannot be exchanged for cash, they lose their validity when your account is closed, and they are not refundable except where the law requires it.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
The following are strictly prohibited:
Enforcement: Content reported as breaking these rules is reviewed within 24 hours and removed if it does. Offending users' accounts are suspended or permanently closed. For severe violations the account is closed immediately and without warning, and the same person is prevented from opening a new one.
Reporting and blocking: Every moment and every conversation includes an option to report the content or the user. You can block any user; a blocked person cannot see you or reach you.
You own the content you share. So that the app can work, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free right to store your content, display it and deliver it to other users, valid for as long as your account is open. That right ends when you delete your account.
You are legally responsible for everything you share. Only upload content that is yours or that you have the right to share.
Nokta makes it easier for people to meet in real places. We do not verify users' identities and we do not run background checks. When meeting people you do not know:
Nokta cannot be held responsible for the outcome of your meetings.
The app uses your location to show you moments around you. Your precise location is never shown to any user; the moments you leave appear on the map within an approximate area. Location permission applies only while you are using the app and you can turn it off at any time in your device settings.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete my account). We reserve the right to suspend or close your account if you breach these terms.
The app is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will run uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the app. This limitation does not remove any rights granted to you by consumer law.
These terms may be updated. For significant changes we will notify you inside the app; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Turkish courts have jurisdiction over disputes. Your rights as a consumer are reserved.
This agreement is between you and Nokta; Apple is not a party to it. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app infringes a third party's rights, Apple is not responsible for handling those claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and have the right to enforce it against you.
